A few springs ago I went to the Lake District with the intention of hiking near Grasmere - the small town that was once the home of William Wordsworth. I ended up doing little walking and a lot of sitting around watching tourists, sheep and gravestones. I also saw a wonderful robin and a heron too.
I wrote a poem which became the draft of a longer poem that’s now in my collection called The Nitty-Gritty God.
As always I took my camera and recorded some content. I’ve just uploaded a short video to YouTube of my day in Grasmere if you fancy taking a look at that - it’s quite short.
